Cozy spot on a secluded cove with nice beaches
We found this hotel a hidden little secret on a secluded cove. The friendly staff and easy parking made everything very easy. There were little restaurants and lots to do all day so it was easy to relax and enjoy the beach.

Tranquility by the sea
An amazing, quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of other nearby beach resorts. Close to a few little restaurants. Area has a nice, local vibe. Right on a beautiful, tranquil beach. Loved waking up and seeing the sea every morning. Great amenities, like hammocks and beach chairs. A perfect place for a couple looking for a romantic beach getaway.

Hidden Paradise
We adored our stay at this hidden paradise. Carlos was easy to get a hold of by text or What'sApp and the directions to the condo were detailed and accurate. I made the mistake of thinking I booked the front beachfront hut, as I didn't realize Carlos advertised 3 rooms at El Secreto so that was a big disappointment until we realized that our room just 10 feet back, had good security on the 2nd floor, a large wrap around balcony with Ocean views and the room itself was just as charming. We were very pleased in the end and would definitely go back. This was my first time booking through Hotels.com and was very nervous, but with this place, everything was as advertised. Only wish we could've stayed longer. Xpu-ha is a diamond in the ruff. It's not a very busy beach so if you are looking to relax, this is your place. It is definitely our fav beach in the Mayan Riviera. If you like coffee, all they serve is instant coffee in the restaurants nearby so bring a portable machine if you can.

Hotels.com left us stranded in Mexico
The room we paid for occupied by other guest. We got placed (by a cleaning lady) in a substandard, moldy, disgusting room. The owner was nowhere to be found and wouldn't respond to texts, calls, and emails. Obviously, the room was double booked The whole property (just three rooms) and how it conducts its business looks more like a scam. Hotels.com was unwilling to help. Every single hotels.com representative we got transferred to (calling from Mexico) was incompetent. We ended up moving to a different hotel and paying out of our pocket. Terrible service hotels.com!!!!!! We are preparing a case and will expect full refund for the vacation that never was.

Wir hatten einen perfekten Aufenthalt. Die Lage ist einzigartig. Direkt am Strand mit Blick aufs Meer. Das Appartement ist groß, sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet.
