How to get to Atlanta

The city is easily reached by air, with the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport based only 10 miles south of the center. This huge airport is a hub of worldwide aviation, serving flights from top European and Asian destinations, as well as dozens of domestic cities. From the airport, you can hop on an inexpensive MARTA train - the city’s light rail - direct to Downtown or Midtown. Once there, Atlanta’s individual neighborhoods are easy and pleasant to explore by foot. For longer trips hop on a public bus - make sure to purchase a Breeze Card first - or take a taxi.
