Walkable. Safe. Clean. Easy to get around on public transport. Good food. Goggle Maps does NOT work well. Use local map app (eg, Naver) for walking visuals (directions/names in Korean) between it & Google, all was OK. Use Papago app for translation.

Seoul is great. People maybe reserved but very warm and friendly. Unlike some other countries I regularly visit, Koreans are respectful of personal space and overall very orderly, safe and exciting place. Public transportation is very convenient.

It had been many years since we last visited Seoul, and we loved the city just as much as we did before. It still has a wonderful mix of the historic and the contemporary. Museums we recommend: War and Women's Human Rights and the Leeum Mod Art.

Before going to S Korea, I was sceptic, thinking it is just another big City/Concrete jungle. I was proven wrong! Seoul is a huge City with so much greenery, surrounded by beautiful rocky mountains, blue Han River, extremely clean and safe City

The city with 10 million population is amazingly clean. It puts San Francisco and Seattle to shame. People act with high self-respect and respect others equally. The designated "pink" seat in the subway train are not abused by public.

Very interesting city. We were in the major tourist area, so expect crowds. Seoul is a city rich in history. It is a very affordable place to visit. Instead of shopping, focus on the rich history of Seoul and the Republic of Korea.

Highly recommend the DMZ tour (starting from 70,000KWN)! Buy the multi-palace pass to save some money (6,000KWN). And like London, there are a number of free museums e.g. Folk Museum and National Museum which I appreciate.

"It is a bit far from the Old City and represents the New City. Hotel itself is one of the best in Seoul, very good breakfast, very good location in terms of dining options and shopping. "
