Where to stay

A bewilderingly big city of many contrasting districts, Seoul’s main areas, Gangnam and Jongno, couldn’t be more different. A towering cluster of glass, steel, and neon, just south of the river, Gangnam is the city’s glitzy shopping, dining, and nightlife district. Historic Jongno on the other hand is home to grand palaces, Jogyesa Temple, and Bukchon Hanok – a village studded with traditional Korean architecture.
