I booked this hotel back in March 2019 and was suppose to check in on April 17th 2019. I booked the hotel through Expedia. I also reserved a parking spot with the hotel directly for an extra $50CAD. Close to my arrival time, the hotel was suppose to send me an email with my room number and code to enter. I drove from Ottawa to Toronto thinking the email would arrive during that day. Upon arrival, my email was not in my inbox nor was it in my spam email. Since this is not a real hotel but a place where people rent condo rooms, I talked to the concierge but he had no clue as to how he could help me. I then tried twice calling the number provided in case we had problems with our arrival. No answer. I left a message on the voice mail the 2nd time but no one ever returned my call. I ended up booking another hotel for 2 nights in Toronto. Upon my return, I contacted the same number again and got a hold of a lady who confirmed that she saw my booking and that an email was suppose to have been sent to me a couple of days before. When I asked her to recap the email address, she stopped short in the middle, paused and let me know that I could contact the owner to try and resolve the issue. She said that she was going to leave the owner a msg to call me back and that I could call them directly if they didn't call. I managed to speak with the owner only once who said that she would call back but never did. I lost over $500 and the owner does not want to reimburse.
