Phuket has plenty of impressive sunset bars and restaurants, most of which are dotted along the island's west coast. While most of these venues open all day, they're obviously busiest at dusk. You can end the day in Phuket with an excellent meal and drinks, as well as a dramatic scenery of the sun setting below the horizon.

From simple setups on the island's famous viewpoints to award-winning restaurants right on the beach, our list of the most popular sunset bars in Phuket below caters to just about any budget level. The only unbreakable condition is that you have to get there on time to grab a table with the best view.

    Baba Nest

    Panwa Beach

Baba Nest at Sri Panwa Phuket may have relatively short opening hours and a fairly remote location but it's widely regarded as one of the best rooftop bars in the world. Strikingly simple in design, it's just a large open deck surrounded on all sides by an infinity-edge pool. It's the stunning 360-degree views which make it so renowned.

Highly exclusive, there's limited available space and reservations are essential. In-house guests have a minimum-spend requirement of 500 baht while those not staying at Sri Panwa must spend at least 1,000 baht. Given that the extensive drinks menu features high-end cocktails, that’s not going to be a difficult number to reach.
