Such a great little place in an awesome location! Walking distance to the ferry and main downtown area. Beautiful views of the sea from the rooftop pool! The snack bar of now open until later in the evening! Great menu for dinner and drinks with decent prices. Drinks are beautifully hand-crafted and delivered to you in the pool! We loved Jaime and Sergio - fantastic customer service! The only negative - the loud, thumping bass beat persisting until 2am on the weekend.

I booked the deluxe double with ocean views...its on the main street overlooking the ocean with a very large balcony so gorgeous for the price...but noisy cars at night. Dont book this room if noise an issue for you...saying that, usually it is for me but I really enjoyed the large spacious room. Simple but all requirements. its just a 7-8 minute walk from the ferry terminal straight along the ocean promenade. But dont expect to see the sign from the main road, as it has a side entry.

I've done the all inclusive resorts, and another smaller hotel, but nothing compares to Puerto Libre. The view is beautiful, the rooms are clean, and it's so conveniently located/walkable. Customer service is top notch.
