People were amazing except for reception. Room smelled terrible, no AC and the lights didn't work. There were NO buffets, very limited a la carte menu and even the most fundamental options were not available (like bananas, ice cream and guacamole).

There are soo many employees that deserve praise and acknowledgment for their great service. Fernando at the front lobby, The Captain at the evening restaurant, food, service and overall atmosphere and treatment was over the top. The main restaurant, Julian, Angelina, Gabrial, Randy and I'm sure there were more, but those are the ones that really went above and beyond. Also started with an E he was always so nice, great service and great smile. I did miss Aldo. The lady and gentlemen at the activities was also so amazingly great to deal with. I do miss all the shows and activities that you all use to do. Now as far as the worst service I received was at the front desk. Julia , was very UNfriendly , never smiling and always treated me as a bother. I was ignored , she alone makes me not want to plan Family Vaca with EL Coz. My Grown Children even made the comment that she didn't like me. I have stayed at El Coz since 2001, before I even married my husband and brought my teenage kids. My Husband and I have stayed many times through the years Now our kids are grown, and I brought them, their spouses and my grandchildren. I paid for 3 rooms, I thought we would have received a little friendlier service. I miss the old days. I understand times have changed since covid, but don't try and save a dime to cost you a dollar. Let the A/C's in the room go down another few degrees. Put tissues and wash cloths in the rooms, along with a hair dryer. I enjoyed the food quality and opt.
