Beautifully Designed Hotel
The hotel is beautifully designed with plenty of vegetation and birds. The pool is great and breakfast was good and healthy. We had no problems with the wifi and the staff was helpful in answering any site seeing questions we had. The hotel is in town but on the beach side. Parking at the beach is tough so you're best bet is to take a taxi there. Many of the shops and hotels in Tulum have a hipster chic vibe. The town seems laid back and the locals are very friendly. The beaches of the Maya Riviera have been having a major seaweed problem for the last few months. We were there a week and didn't swim as a result. However, there are plenty of non-beach activities in the area. Cenotes are everywhere and the pyramids at Coba are amazing; you can still climb them. The Sian Ka'an reserve isn't far too. Enjoy!

Great Design Focused Boutique Hotel
We really loved Prana - the design of the space is really nice and feels like an oasis, everything is clean and well maintained. The hotel is located a close enough bike ride to the restaurant/bar/beach strip and they have bikes you can use. Wifi worked great, not strong enough to stream. Breakfast and juice is delicious, other food/drinks we had was great too! The only negative part of our stay was that the bed creaked like it was going to fall through the frame only with us making small movements like sitting on it - but was still comfortable. Also, the room was dark because it had window shutters, but they could only be used if you moved around the slates which was difficult and took forever. There was no glass so if you opened them the hot air poured in. We didn't open the shutters the whole time, not a huge deal but love to have some sunlight when it sunny outside! Overall a great place! Good if you want a nice place to stay, but is a cheaper and you are willing to be further from the beach.

Nice stay at Prana Boutique Hotel Tulum
The overall impression of the stay is fine - a fair deal for the price. The hotel, however is quite far away from the beach (4 km or more - so in the evening one cannot use the bikes). Regarding the reservation there seems that a miscommunication occurred, since the hotel did not get the timely message about shortening the stay for one night. However the manager dropped the fees for that night.

The perfect stay in Tulum!
Prana is the perfect boutique hotel. A hidden oasis in Tulum town. The rooms and pool / bar area are fantastic... and the food is to die for (try a mojito Fidel and you will not regret it). It’s a bit further away from the beach but the beach is very easy to access via bike lane (with free bikes for all those staying in the hotel... the bikes definitely need a little TLC as they are quite old but you can’t really complain when they are free!) We had such a wonderful few days there! Thanks to all the team!!!!

Superb boutique hotel, excellent service!
Hotel prana was fabulous, the service was amazing, the staff were so helpful and couldn’t do enough. The breakfast was fresh, and superb quality, the honey was probably the best we’ve ever tasted. The location is great, in the town tucked just off the main roads so quiet but easy access to both the town, beach and cenotes. Cenotes are about 20 mins bike ride as is the beach, wheras town centre restaurants etc is like five min walk. A huge bonus of this hotel is that they provide free bike hire so you can come and go as you please on one of the many bikes. From what we could see this was by far one of the nicer places to stay in town, with the pool and restaurant of great quality and lovely little boutique garden setting - very tranquil. It had the vibe of the more Bohemian places down by the beach but located in the town. Room was spacious and spotless! The only thing that was negative was that there was a funny small occasionally in the room/air (which we assumed was the drains) there’s lots of building work going on in the whole of Tulum so we assumed it was related to that! Highly recommend.
