Buffalo Grand Hotel, Buffalo

My stay was constantly interrupted by people trying to enter my hotel room because there was a sign outside my room door stating that everyone could take a sneak peek of the suite. I reported this to the front desk, and nothing was done, though I was told they would send security to take down the sign. When I checked out, once again I reported that my stay was not as good as it could have been because of the sign outside the door fiasco, and nothing was offered as compensation. Customer service...all time low.

The hotel served its purpose, however there was no direstiins with check in and thats when we were yold about the $15 parking fee. There was no hot water in either room for showers. The ceiling was falling apart. Need some general upkeep and maintenance. We had to call and ask for more pillows as there were 3 small pillows for a king size bed and they were delivered with no pillowcases.

I may consider staying again but only after the renovation is completed. In-room coffee maker was low-end, lampshade was tattered and torn, no microwave, and no indication from website that one pays to park in a garage. I will probably head back to Amherst area next time I am in town.

The toilet did not work in my room, however - when I called they come quickly to fix it. No complaints. I was able to book a room at 9pm on the worst snow storm of the year.
