Beautiful rooms beware of incl. breakfast option
The rooms in this new hotel are enormous almost too big since it is a long walk from the bed to the bathroom! Beautiful large well equipped bathroom. Very luxurious. Very comfortable hotel. Parking is next door. Lots of the latest technology including a robot butler to bring you room service. Beware of Breakfast. We booked a room with All American Breakfast included. When we checked in they gave us a voucher for $16 each towards the cost of breakfast. Restaurant had no item called All American Breakfast and they were puzzled when we asked for it? If one were to take a Full Breakfast by ordering a la carte it would cost $30 to $40. There was no breakfast buffet. The hotel was virtually empty and there were only 3 out of 50 tables occupied at 9:00 in the restaurant .Nevertheless took 40 minutes for us to get our breakfast served. Who know what they were doing? At least they came to apologize for the delay frequently. Coffee was water weak but this is an issue in many places in eastern USA.

Best hotel in Buffalo, but lighting is too bright
The Westin is the nicest hotel I've stayed at in Buffalo (I travel here frequently for business). Top notch staff and service. My room was extremely nice - spacious, clean, comfortable bed, nice bathroom. My only complaint is that if your room faces the main street (Delaware Avenue), the hotel lighting is really bright so you have to close your blackout curtains completely to shut out the fluorescent lighting. Personally, I don't like sleeping in total darkness but I also would not have been able to sleep with the yellow lighting coming into my room. I would suggest that the Westin try to dim the lights at night if possible. Otherwise, great stay and would plan on staying here again.
