This resort is a real five star experience. We really felt cared for. Everyone was very helpful. I speak Spanish too, but for travelers who need English, it is not an issue at all. We had a transcendent spa experience and all the fabulous food we could handle. Room was excellent with in-room coffee and filtered drinking water. Many local excursions will come to the resort to pick you up. There is a huge mall across the street, with many high end stores and an aquarium. We also used the concierge to book a short sailing trip on the last night. He was great both in helping us book the event and also support after the sale. I can't imagine a better resort, and I highly recommend it.

I understand that a tropical climate comes with high humidity, but the musty smell in our hotel room was overwhelming. It soaked into all my clothes and bags, and even after washing my clothes several times since returning home, the smell still hasn’t gone away. The food was good and the staff were friendly, but because of the smell in the room, I don’t think I would stay here again.

We had an amazing stay! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly, the beach was beautiful, and the pool was clean and relaxing. The food and drinks were great, and the overall atmosphere made for a perfect vacation. The only thing I didn’t like was that the resort didn’t clearly communicate the schedule for daily activities, so it was easy to miss them. Other than that, everything was excellent, and we would definitely come back.

I would recommend live aqua for anyone who is looking for an adults only resort. The food and the service is good. And the staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s very relaxing and quiet vibes. Beautiful clean rooms, and ordering room service is very easy. My only complaint would be that one night we had no hot water. But being from New York and living in a building sometimes that happens. I would definitely return again.
