I have used IBIS a lot but this property is not acceptable. The humidity smell, you can not reduce or increase the temperature of the AC, they did not put a bottle of water and coffee like other ibis around the world.

This place is not very clean. The showers are very tiny and the shower head is directly over your head. It’s not one of this nice shower heads, it’s a reg one that is not even in great condition. Rooms are very small, especially if you’re sharing with another person. Some of the staff is polite and helpful but I’d be remiss of me to not mention the other staff who gave me a hard time to check in the first time I tried. It’s a long story but just know that they were not helpful at all and wanted to charge us $80 for checking in early (after already paying the original room price of $76)… told us to wait until 11am to check in without a charge… when we went back after sleeping in our car for a few hours… was then told we needed to pay $30. After negotiating and speaking to a manager… we finally got into our room. I’m the room… most things were broken and/or dirty. Stains on sheets and sitting area, bathroom was terrible. But we were so exhausted at that point that we just had to get some sleep. This place is cheaper than all the other places for a reason. The only good thing I can say is that the location is good and there’s a Walmart Market downstairs next door.

The rooms are tiny, the internet did not work when I stayed there and I specifically booked that place thinking the internet would work. The place is not worth the money, can stay at a much nicer hotel in Cancun for less, the breakfast is not good. Friendly staff and good location but that's it.
