I’ve heard that Hotel Gajoen Tokyo began with the idea of offering “an escape from the ordinary”—inviting guests into a world unlike their own through lavish paintings and ornate decorations. That spirit is still very much alive today. If a hotel is meant to be more than simply a place to stay—if it is meant to offer a complete experience where you can immerse yourself in the culture and art of the country, enjoy exceptional cuisine, appreciate the beauty of nature, and indulge in a sense of leisure and luxury—there are few places that can compare with Hotel Gajoen Tokyo. I highly recommend joining the hotel tour, held every day at 4 p.m. Just as importantly, make sure to leave yourself enough time during your stay to explore the hotel at your own pace, discover its many beautiful details, and simply relax and enjoy your room. These moments are very much part of the Gajoen experience.
