Room with a King Bed!
Loved the location. Clean high-tech rooms. However if you are not familiar with the layout of the technology, it makes the room difficult to use. When we first opened the room door with large luggage in hand and the door switch would not turn on a single light, we had to use the flashlight on our phones to locate other buttons to find a light source. Also had to search out a button to open the drapes to let light in as it was apparant the blind was on an electrical source but not apparant where the operating button was.On the hotel's defense, perhaps this was because we didn't use a bellhop who would have gave us a room description. Overall, I also found the staff (front desk, restaurant etc.) to be somewhat cool. Overall, loved the room and the location and would recommend it to others.

One of the reasons I chose this hotel was because of the pool and fitness center. I was in the middle of a long trip and just wanted to be able to work out. Although this listing says that hotel amenities include a health club and pool, hotel guests are not able to enter the health club without paying an entrance fee. This was extremely disappointing and I think it is wrong to advertise this as a hotel amenity without noting that there is a fee.

Great hotel. Buffet needs work, but impeccible fac
Great hotel -- got awesome rate through hotels.com Everything was wonderful except for the breakfast buffet which was incredibly expensive (welcome to Tokyo) and pretty average. But other than that, it was wonderful. I would go back if I could get the same rate as I did on hotels.com (about $178 a night)

Clean, big rooms but far from Shinjuku shopping
I stayed here in January, 2017. I had a reservation for several nights but cut it short due to the long walking distance to tourist and shopping locations I wanted to spend time in nearer to the main Shinjuku station. On the one hand, the hotel sits practically on top of a subway stop. However, I found no direct access to the hotel from the station so I needed to walk and then go up about two sets of stairs. That wasn’t a big problem for me but I would think some travellers would expect easier access to the hotel from the station. Mainly, from my point of view, the hotel was not a reasonable walking distance to the shopping district. If I were using a taxi or were driving, maybe I’d stay here again. But both of those are not really great ideas in Tokyo. The weekend breakfast buffet was approximately $55. The pool and fitness facility were both very clean and well equipped, though the hot soaking tub was very small by Tokyo standards (surprising that a hotel of this size would install a hot soaking tub that fits one person at a time). The in-room amenities were acceptable but not to my personal taste (very citrusy scent to all of the soaps/shampoos).
