It's a small hotel, just 16 rooms, on a quiet street off a major road. I appreciated the quiet after the noise of the city. They make you remove your outside shoes as soon as you step inside and put them in small lockers by the door. They provide slippers for indoor use. The staff was very helpful and patient with our questions. The coffee in the room and in the lobby wasn't great but there are many good coffee shops nearby. The location is excellent with easy access to public transit as well as, a little further, Nippori Station where you can catch the Skyliner to Narita Airport. There is also a large supermarket (LIFE) just a 4-minute walk away.

Perfect location to access all the must see places. Close to a main station. The staff were really accommodating and even helped to sort the baggage to be forwarded which was a huge help. The room had all the amenities we required and was perfect for what we needed. We would definitely return.

We had a great stay at The Barn Tokyo! We booked a queen room and there were plenty of space for us and our suitcases. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The room was very clean and quiet. The location is also convenient and close to the train station and easy to reach many tourist spots in Tokyo. Even though Ugsuidani is known as the love hotel district, the area was very safe and quiet and had a residential feel. We would stay in this area again in the future.
