    Convenient area, but very crowded.
Nice hotel right next to the Shinagawa Station. When you get off the train, head for the Takanawa Exit which is the West Exit. DO NOT USE GOOGLE MAPS - It will take you the long way around. When you come down the escalator at the Takanawa Exit walk towards the left side walkway and use the crosswalk and walk pass McDonald's and go straight up that mall. You will have walkway ramps if you have luggage. You will see the Prince North Tower first, but if you're staying in the main tower or annex, just stay to your left and you'll see the entrance. I caught this watching YouTube videos. Watch a lot of YouTube videos and you'll learn a lot about the areas you're going to.

    Excellent location
Location was amazing. It was so easy to cross the street to the Shinagawa station. Also having a 7-11 and a McDonald’s on property was convenient especially for our picky 6 year old. Rooms are pretty small and beds stiff but I think this is standard in Japan.

would like to have a microwave in the room, or at least access to it in the hotel.

    Exceptional 10.0
My husband and I stayed at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel 2 extra days following a group tour. Everything was impeccably clean and the staff were very helpful. This hotel has the best buffet breakfast serving both japanese and american food and it's located across the street from the train station. We'll definitely stay here again when in Japan.

Overall, it was a great experience. The location was convenient -close to transportation, and carious restaurants. Great buffet breakfast (especially if it’s included w/your room).
