Things to Do in Kuta

Kuta is a strong contender for Bali’s number 1 sunset site and late afternoon sees hundreds of people gathering along the shore. Watch spectacular sunsets, enjoy a meal of fresh seafood from one of the many beachside cafes, or even grab a frosty Bintang and find a good spot on the sand. The sunsets here are especially spectacular around December, so don't forget your camera.

For families, the slides and rides on offer in Waterbom water park are a huge draw, and there’s also plenty to see and do around Poppies Lane – browse the shops, enjoy a drink or relax with a massage. Another place you should visit is Ground Zero, where Balinese residents and foreign tourists still keep coming to put fresh flowers at the Memorial.
