Things to Do in Canggu

Canggu Beach is one of Bali’s most exotic yet easily accessible coasts, with gray to black sand, and a fine combination of rural village scenes with flowing verdant rice fields. Some of the different beaches in Canggu are also named after landmark sea temples that guard the coasts, such as Pura Batu Mejan, overlooking one of Canggu’s most popular surf breaks – nicknamed ‘Echo Beach’ by wave riders.

Black sand beaches like Pantai Nelayan are dotted with fishermen’s traditional jukung outrigger boats, with local fisherman bringing in their daily catch in the early mornings.
