"Fantastic family stag at RIU Plaza. Great size family room, excellent breakfast and perfect location to explore Madrid from. All the Transport links you need are just few metres from the hotel. The 360 roof bar was fabulous with amazing views out over Madrid. I would certainly recommend this hotel."

"Stayed on the 8th floor. We arrived and the entire floor smelled like fried food. When the reception was contacted the answer was that “thats strange there is no restaurant on that floor, maybe its from the event on the 7th floor”. We couldn't even open windows as the smell would’ve come into the room. The outdoor area outside the entrance of the hotel smells like an ashtray through the day as this is the smoking area. We had booked the superior room as we have 2 young children. It was an odd division to the room. The sofa bed was unbearable to sleep on as you could feel the metal under the mattress. Definitely not a family friendly hotel that I was expecting."

"I had a very comfortable and great stay for the time that I was at Urban hive. Location was really great. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the bed was incredibly comfortable. As a single woman travelling, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again as I felt safe comfortable and well looked after.."

"The staff at this hotel are very friendly and polite. They really made a difference to our stay. The hotel was nice and was kept very clean. This hotel would be great for lively couples or friends. Our disappointment was the noise level throughout the hotel. It was impossible to get any peace at all, including in our room. Since discovering it was an autism friendly hotel, we had high hopes. On arrival our son recieved an autism friendly gift bag, which was so kind and thoughtful. This really made such a difference to us, and it was highly appreciated. We requested a quiet room ahead of time and expressed our concerns regarding noise because we have an autistic son. At no point did the hotel inform us that this hotel would not be suitable. The way the hotel is set up, there is no way to escape the noise throughout this hotel. My son was upset and crying until the music stopped at 11pm every night. We were told that we have the quietest room in the hotel. I don't suffer from noise sensitivity myself, but I also struggled with the noise and found this frustrating. Its not a bad hotel, it just wasn't suitable for us. I just wished that the staff members could have informed us beforehand when I expressed concerns."

"My stay was great from start to finish. Well designed, very clean, well maintained and the staff were literally fantastic. The breakfast is a plus too ! As a world traveller, my experience was indeed memorable, without a doubt. Hats off to the team"

"Newer hotel. There's not a lot right near the hotel, but there's really no reason to leave it. The food was good, especially the breakfast. Very good value."

"La cercanía con el aeropuerto es perfecta llegas en menos de 10 minutos"

"All great"

"Very helpful staff and the room was in a quiet part of the hotel. Generally had a relaxing and pleasant time during my 4 nights here. The buffet breakfast was of very good quality."
