Hotel is well located, the staff are friendly and helpful. The roof pool area is lovely. However, our room was small, dark, and disappointing… there was nothing wrong with it, it was just dated, cramped and drab.

Very Disappointing
Horrible experience, they ruined our holiday by first giving us rooms directly under sweaming pool and bar wich was open until 1am and extremely noisy and than 2 nights after we completed thay punished us by giving us rooms that haven't been renovated for ever, old furniture, mouldy bathrooms, flimsy bedding, windows looking at someones ruins... And on top of that, we booked double bads and I end up with 2 single bads and a sofa witch made the room even smaller. To say I was extremely disappointed its understatement

Prime location and comfy stay
Great location right on Gran Via. Yet our room was amazingly quiet. Staff helpful. You literally can walk out to see a show ( like a NYC Broadway Show) right down the street or choose from a multitude of restaurants and bars ( with tapas). For as big a city as Madrid is it feels wonderfully safe and relaxed. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. * Be sure to utilize the bar/lounge up front. You can comfortably relax w/ a drink & people watch thru the huge front windows!

Amazing location
Location is amazing! You cant get anything better for the price in terms of that. The rooftop pool is also a major plus and the views are incredible. The rooms are a bit outdated but it didnt bother us much. Some of the staff were not so friendly, while others were incredibly friendly and nice. The cleaner does not pay attention to the signs on the door so get ready to wake up at 9am and then have your room not cleaned for a day...

Special property in an incredible location
The rooftop pool and terrace is the Star of this hotel and makes it a superstar in Madrid. I enjoyed many aspects of the hotels classic/nostalgic aesthetic but if the rooms were updated this place would be elevated. The bathroom was dated (though functional) and the beds were good but not luxury. The service at the pool was a little chaotic and at times abrupt. Overall however, it is a special property in an incredible location and I would stay again.
