    Boatworks Mall sits right along the lake’s shoreline. While it’s an enclosed mall, it provides impressive marina, lake, and mountain views along with scenic walking paths that lead to the water.     The Summit in South Reno is just 20 minutes from North Lake Tahoe in the South Reno area. You’ll know just where you need to go and you might even have time left over to enjoy the mall’s other many offerings.

Located in Truckee, it displays quality works by people who are closely connected to the local community and its spectacular surrounds. The welcoming space is a must-visit for those who want to bring a piece of the beautiful Lake Tahoe region home. 

    The Mountain Arts Collective stocks both budget-friendly works of art and high-end statement pieces. Popular items include nature-inspired jewelry and woodwork, photography, glass art, and fiber art. Each artist member works at the gallery about 5 or 6 days a month, so you might be able to chat with one of them during your visit.
