We were 3 for 3 nights. Trash does pile up quickly and ceiling fan was broken-it worked but it made a sound as if it was about to break so we did not Use it. Hand soap was a body wash so we went out and bought hand soap. Front desk staff is great.

A Must-Stay in South Lake Tahoe
Really like this spot. Great location, great vibe, and great outdoor space with games for the family and a tap room for those that enjoy such things. A small cafe with good food and coffee was the perfect way to top it off this morning when we got on our way.

Underwhelming Service at Basecamp South Lake Tahoe
It was our first time staying at the hotel. For some reason, they put us in a room in the back without any front windows. There were several other rooms near us that had front windows and were empty for the duration of our stay there. And when we attempted to check out, the staff would not assist us as the front desk was not open until 8 AM. Instead she simply sat on a sofa in the lounge, minding her own business, while we waited at the front desk. There was also no sign on the desk stating it was closed nor was there a key drop-off box. So, the service we received was underwhelming and could be improved.

The stay was great! Susie and Camron greeted me at the front desk and made the stay absolutely lovely!! Although I was there to take advantage of the spring snow, I’d be happy to come back any time of the year.
