    Mammoth Lakes is a town in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California and famed for its iconic ski neighborhoods, nature hiking regions and national monuments. The Devils Postpile National Monument is just a stone’s throw from town and hosts a stunning formation of natural basalt columns and the cascading and towering Rainbow Falls. Mono Lake to the north provides a saltwater mountain lake with limestone towers.
