Exactly as described. Bed was so comfortable and it was separate from the living kitchen area. That was a great room with sofa tv microwave, hob and large fridge with freezer. Great shower. And excellent value for money so close to the centre of Ottawa. Lovey circular walk to Cathedral and back along the opposite bank. We were only there overnight but would come back and use as a base for a week. Parking in garage next door was efficient easy access and safe, no problem with the check in at a separate building which was close by and managed very efficiently. For those of us looking for a decent bed and shower and well priced accommodation, I don’t think you could do better.

An older apartment building converted to a hotel. Very clean, good sized suite and well furnished. Heat control was a challenge; the old electric heaters in the main area and the bedroom ran constantly and a thermostat on the bedroom wall had no effect on them. A newer cooling unit in the main area was able to lower the temperature there but it was still a bit warm in the bedroom. The location was very convenient to catch a bus to downtown Ottawa, but the side of the hotel I was on borders a pedestrian-only street lined with bars and small restaurants and there were noisy crowds and loud music until after 2:00 a.m. 2 out of 3 nights. If not for the noise I would have been happy with it, and it was good for the price.
