The sites near Wilmington were great--the Nemours estate and Hagley museum. I also enjoyed the riverwalk and historical museum. The city of Wilmington is quiet, and like other cities, lost many restaurants and businesses due to the pandemic.

Lots of places to eat. Across the street is the Brandywine Diner. Delicious food, good prices, tons of options for anytime of the day Any type of place to shop nearby. Definitely better than a stay in the outskirts of Philadelphia.

Wilmington has changed a lot from the eighties when I attend UD as a student. It looks and feels so much better.

Overall, I liked Wilmington. The rental for me was not worth the rental and service fee price.

Lots of things to do in Wilmington. You just need to be aware of your surroundings.
"Proximity to the Marriott Grand Ballroom and the Philadelphia Convention Center. The bar and lounge are popular amenities. A coffee shop is located in the hotel (open in the mornings)."
"Everything was very clean and smelled good. You absolutely cannot beat the value. Parking was only $10 and just steps away from the room. 5 stars al the way "
"The property itself is extremely convenient. The area right around the property doesn’t feel very safe at times but isn’t unsafe per se. It’s just a lot of homeless people and druggies on the streets around the hotel, maybe the hotel can do more to proactively eliminate it in the immediate vicinity. The hotel itself is good and no issues with the property itself. The breakfast was decent but could have a few more options for the Buffet"
