Great location, half of the staff was very friendly (Brian the bartender, the cook, one of the front desk girls upon check in, the cleaning crew). Unfortunately the pool was closed and we were not notified...they are making improvments, possible adding an awning, which resulted in a lot of banging all day. I think it will be a perfect stay once the pool is open again.

The old building is exceptionally charming, the view from the rooftop is amazing, and the location for walking Old San Juan is excellent. The amenities and services are pretty spartan (no in room coffee, no extra towels, limited lighting, no way to adjust A/C), but the price is commensurate, so overall we were very pleased with our stay.
