We had a great stay at this adorable hotel. We had an issue with our comforter looking dirty however Benji was able to help us right away by changing the full set. His customer service was excellent! The breakfast was delicious and we also enjoyed the pool, hot tub and sauna.

Blu was a stretch for me as an older traveler who might lean more traditional. But the location is great and was right around the corner from Frankies Jazz, good food and some sights. The Skytrain is a bit of a walk but do-able. The area is near to both Granville to the west and some tougher areas to the east. I felt safe walking around at night but it's got some sketchy to it. The room, the gym, the lobby, the elevators: all good. The 'Terrace' turned out to be surrounded by 100s of windows from other buildings. But the staff was great, especially with concierge help for my visit.
