Clean room and very friendly staff. The only downside is it says on their room description that rooms are soundproofed but I beg to disagree, maybe the walls are but we heard foot steps and around 4am we were woken up by other guests who were quite loud, we thought it will just be for few minutes but we can still hear them even when they were inside their room and lasted like an hour. There’s wide gap between the door frame and the floor so maybe the hotel should look into this.

A short 15 minute walk from Bournemouth railway station in what appeared to be a quiet location. Bournemouth town centre is also a short walk. The room was clean and I was able to get two good nights sleep in a comfortable bed. Check in was good, quick and efficient. I did not have breakfast nor did I go to the bar so I can't pass comment. If I stay over in Bournemouth again this hotel is certainly one that I would revisit.

Staff were really friendly and worked hard to ensure we had a comfortable stay. It’s a nice hotel, and while hotels in Bournemouth do struggle with upkeep, it’s clear the Orchid really try. It was a little chilly, but they did provide a heater and the important parts such as the clean sheets, big fresh towels and a clean modern bathroom were all immaculate. Breakfast was good and having a nice bar on site to relax was a great addition!
