Admittedly the hotel and room looked in good condition, but then at £220 (ex.breakfast) it should be nice.
As a frequent (business) traveller, i see and stay at plenty of hotel. Only once in 10 years have i ever complained. This will be my 2nd.
Apart from the bathroom being...cosy, the main issue is noise. Noise from the street as window didn’t close properly. Noise from the heating (and it wasnt even on!!). Should you turn the heat (radiator), then you could quite happily hold a party and no one would know.
Reception gave the speel about reporting issue, but 1/ couldn't remember room number 2/unlikely they'll tear pipes out or insulate. My colleague 3 doors down also experienced excessive noise.
Just to top off a noisy night, beds are not only hard, but 2 singles put together.
Plenty of other accommodation, and cheaper elsewhere.
