I have stayed at the Clarendon on many occasions. Even though some of the rooms look a bit dated, it adds to the character. Housekeeping ensure everything is so clean, and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is great, with lots of choice, and the restaurant/kitchen staff are amazing, always have a smile, even when it’s busy.

Bar music was AI slop and all the menus are AI created. Breakfast was good English breakfast. Dinner was mediocre, better places around. Room was nice, hard to find and access but cozy. Had an fan which was great since no AC. Bathroom floor felt hollow and made loud sounds when walking. The drinks machine downstairs is very reasonable priced. Overall very enjoyable stay and only small issues. Staff was polite and nice.
