2 mins to T5, new hotel, nice room, nice bar, food is your average chain hotel, not exceptional but acceptable. Overall better than most airport hotels. Happy and will use again.

10/10 Exceptional

This airport hotel is so much better than most airport hotels. Nice rooms and bathrooms, great bar and restaurants. Guests should note that many of the rooms fact inward towards the lobby. If you are a person who has to see out, you should request those rooms.

Very easy to find when coming off a flight. We had an early flight next morning so was in a perfect location and we easily returned to airport to do a bag drop the night before. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist on arrival and upgraded to a luxury room with complimentary mini bar. We will most definitely use this hotel again in our future travels.

Staying at the Sofitel Heathrow after a period of travel is always a highlight I look forward to when traveling in London. The rooms are always clean, comfortable and welcoming. The staff is always gracious and attentive and the Vivre restaurant for dinner and buffet breakfast in the morning before departure add extra satisfaction to my stay. I look forward to the next opportunity to stay at Heathrow Sofitel.

6/10 Good

The walk from the terminal isn’t great… should have been informed it was longer for someone with mobility issues. Queues at check in long - dealt with well. Food good but very pricy! Would I stay here again probably not… flight time would be the determining factor

10/10 Exceptional

From the moment we checked in the experience could not have been better. We were given an upgrade to a bigger room when the receptionist noticed my mother’s wheelchair ‘to make it easier’ - a very thoughtful touch. The room was clean, comfortable and very well equipped with coffee/tea/biscuits, robes, slippers etc. we dined in the informal restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was excellent, food delicious and prompt. We loved that there was a shop inside the hotel for any forgotten items and late night snacks. Overall an excellent stay, superb staff and excellent location for terminal 5 - we found it easily although the signage is small.
