8/10 Very good

Hotel room nice size and clean. The hotel location is perfect and central plus a short walk to the train station. Dining area being renovated so breakfast was at piccolino for £16 a head but not loads of choice. Not many Tea bags or coffee put in room and even though moisturiser was asked to be topped up twice it never was.

First time staying here and very impressed. Nice room with lots of space and a big bed. The bathroom included a bath tub and separate shower & the shower was good too. Not one that turns your bathroom into a wet room. Restaurant was out of service due to renovation but there are plenty of good places to eat within a short distance. Pool and the Thermal suite (steam, sauna and ice igloo) were good too. Overall very good and I will be returning on my next visit to Sheffield.

Bit if a scent of farts in the reception area for the two days I was there, even with the doors open, but other than that a lovely clean modern hotel

Great hotel but it clearly needs a refurb now. The rooms are nice but the decor a bit old fashioned and showing signs of a lot of wear and tear. The corridors and panelling are chipped and bashed and the pool area and sauna etc missing tiles. It’s in a great location and the rooms and bathrooms are a great size and the mattress really comfy. Staff are really helpful and the onsite bar and restaurant are really nice. As I say, just needs a refurb to bring it up to speed.

Outstanding experience. Checked in after 8pm and we still made it to the swimming pool and got to use the steam room and spa facilities. Fantastic woman on reception, modern room, great views and lovely coffee! Couldn't have asked for a better time.

6/10 Good

The spa looked very tired and poorly maintained in many areas with obvious damage and paint peeling off things. The cleaning was of a poor standard and the steam rooms smelled unpleasant and dirty putting me off using them. This was a shame as the choice of facilities is good. The rest of the hotel was very nice and the room was large, clean and comfortable.
