2/10 Poor

Hotel strength is great location, with good restaurant on premises. Unfortunately,Hotel undergoing major renovations, which was NOT disclosed at booking. No lobby, elevators not working with long waits, temporary checkin on 2nd floor, with only 1 staff person. No simple amenities in Room, such as shower caps, robes, etc. In summary, had feeling of old/smelly Hotel.Needed to take service elevator with workers multiple times,as other elevators not working.

This property is in a great location as it is in walking distance to everything restaurant and night life wise. The staff was nice. The rooms are nice although the could use an air purifier and replace the carpet as upon entering and my stay it had me sneezing the whole weekend besides that. This property is a gem

Close to the French quarter with small cafes to enjoy a good breakfast and even lunch. We enjoyed riding the street car on St Charles Av paying 80 cents roundtrip with stops in the garden district and Audubon park and zoo.
