About Omni Royal Orleans Hotel, New Orleans

Elegant hotel with a colorful history in the French Quarter

St. Louis at Royal

Located on New Orleans' most fashionable corner, St. Louis at Royal, the Omni Royal Orleans puts you in the center of the vibrant French Quarter. The bars of Bourbon Street are a block away, it's 2 blocks to trad jazz at Preservation Hall, and a 5-minute walk to the Mississippi.

Creole flavors

Wandering the streets of the French Quarter is the best way to experience New Orleans' unique mix of cultures, sounds, and flavors. You can stop in for chicory coffee at one of the cafés, and there's plenty of authentic Creole cuisine to enjoy in nearby restaurants.

Big Easy flair

The ornate public spaces will take you back to the heyday of the Big Easy - think black onyx statues, marble, and chandeliers. You can head to the heated rooftop pool for frozen daiquiris and great views of the Quarter, or savor rotisserie-roasted meats at the Rib Room.

19th-century style

After an evening out you'll be glad to relax in your cozy room with its antique-style furniture and gilded wallpaper - plus there's WiFi, cable TV, premium TV channels, and a flat-screen TV. Many premium rooms have wrought iron balconies and views over St. Louis Street and the Quarter.

Omni Royal Orleans Hotel, New Orleans
Small but perfect location!
Staff was amazing and really helpful from the moment we arrived. Rooms were very small, but hey, it's an old and "haunted" hotel. Location was perfect and close to everything. Brennan's, Cafe du Monde, Court of 2 Sisters, Central Grocery, etc. Great for a short stay.

Great New Orleans Hotel
First time we stayed at this hotel and we would def return! The hotel itself was beautiful and the people were so friendly. Every employee we dealt with was pleasant! Ms Dee and Jacque and all the bartenders at Rib Room were fantastic. It was a great New Orleans hotel. Only complaint was it was a little noisier that I thought it would be being off Bourbon a ways. There is a music group that plays on Royal St. til all hours of the night. Just be mindful of that if your on the Royal St. side.

Omni Royal Orleans Hotel, New Orleans
The staff was efficient and friendly. The room was on the small side and it was not well insulated as we heard elevator and neighbors in rooms next door after returning from an evening on the town-went so far as to call front desk to address noise level. Location was a bonus.

Very Good8.0
Can’t beat the location!
Fantastic location in the French Quarter, close to everything but on a quiet street. The rooms are tiny and the staff are aggressive about cleaning early in the morning. The knocking on all the rooms would wake me up in the morning, so I highly recommend everyone putting up their privacy door tags!
