Vintage style
Nice hotel, vintage. Whoever did the painting in the rooms didn’t use masking tape! The 1st room we got was very small so we asked for another room and they changed us, I asked to get the upgrade rate of $10 per night they sent me in an email but they wouldn’t honor that so had to pay an extra $20 per night. Thought they should have honored what was in email but was told it was an internet price. Fairly nice hotel.

One of the best in town!
What a great find! Think this will be my new "go-to" hotel in NOLa. Be sure you get a room with a window. My coworker was on 11th fl with a windowless room. I was on 3rd floor and my room was perfect! Great service from front desk, to housekeeping to the bartenders. (Be sure to visit the bar. You know it's good when half the people there are locals.)

Can't Wait to Come Back!
This was our first trip to New Orleans and we can't imagine having chosen a better hotel or a better location. It's a short, fast walk over to the French Quarter and you pass some great local eats, drinks, and shops along the way (and it's not all the same touristy stuff you see in the French Quarter). The hotel, and surrounding area, are quiet and clean - which can be a much needed break at night (and in the mornings). Staff are friendly. Décor is stunning. Beds are comfy. The shower could have been hotter, otherwise I couldn't imagine a better stay!

Being we arrived a bit early 10am and check in is at 4pm our room was not yet ready.....Upon conversation with Eric I told him we were in town for Mardi Gras and of course my 40th bday!! Eric immediately comped me a king room that was ready!!! Now that’s service!! Beautiful hotel and a must to check out there boozy tea time!! Will definitely stay again, very close to Canal and Bourbon, but far enough to have peace and quite for some good sleep.

Perfect location
Excellent location, easy access to the French quarter. We were afraid That staying in the French quarter it would be noisy so this was perfect. We came with a group, so we had five different rooms. All the rooms were fine, except ours and one other for whatever reason didn’t have a dresser, only two small drawers in the closet with a very tiny hanging area for clothes. So we really didn’t have enough storage for a five day trip for two people and had to pretty much live out of our suitcase. That would be my only criticism. A lot of character in the hotel, would recommend.
