Not a 5 star standard that we are used to
We paid for a club room. The club room was nice especially breakfast where you can order off a set menu. We stayed 3 nights (Friday to Monday). The room we were put in was on the 3rd floor on the Western side, which faced both the main street and the mono rail. The walls seemed to be paper thin and the windows did not appear to be double glazed. There was an incredible volume of traffic including motorbikes, and hence it was very noisy. On the last night we had to be asked to be moved 3 times as the first time our Air Conditioning broke down and after some time where they advised it was fixed eventually admitted it wasn't, and then we moved to another room on the same side but a live band had started up. We went and asked to be moved at 12.45am as the Band was still going strong. We moved to the other side, which was dead quiet however, the views from this side are of backs of buildings with rubbish. In addition to all of this we were not happy with the marks on the sheets and pillows, and the lack of face cloths in our original room as we later found out they should have been supplied after seeing them in the other room. Our conclusion is that apart from the Club Room we would not stay at this Hotel again. This Hotel is not a 5 Star Hotel when you compare to other 5 Star Hotels like Conrad Macao Cotai or any other 5 Star Hotels in Cotai Macau, and the Star in Sydney. We have stayed at the Park Royal in Singapore, and their standard far outweighs this Hotel.

Great Hotel in Bukit Bintang
The hotel is situated very well in Bukit Bintang, just less than two blocks from the main intersection. That's less than two blocks away from the Monorail stop as well as the subway stop for the new Sungai Buloh line. As such, the location is very central, and within walking distance of several tourist areas, such as Jalan Alor, Lot 10, Fahrenheit 88, and Pavilion KL. The Monorail and subway makes getting to and from places like KL Sentral, KLCC (Petronas towers), Chinatown and Little India within easy reach. There is also a walkway linking Pavilion KL with KLCC, so walking is also a safe and convenient option. The hotel itself was very affordable and was great value for the price paid. The room was spacious and well-outfitted. The bed was comfortable, wifi was strong, and the bathroom amenities were great. There is also an exercise room and a pool on the 6th floor. The hotel also provides complimentary bottles of water (x2) per night which is also convenient. Staff are friendly and are able to speak English. Would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel if staying in KL for a few days. Definitely a good choice for those wishing to see the touristy parts of KL as the hotel is centrally located. Also a good option for those just wishing to relax as the hotel has a lot of good amenities and restaurants.

Reasonably ok and fine hotel- but not outstanding.
Hotel is situated at a convenient location - within walking distance from many malls and the train- and connectivity is never a problem. Hotel is reasonably clean and stay was ok. The challenge is that nothing stands out, which makes you wonder if this really is a five star hospitality. The main issue is with breakfast- its quite a non motivator to start the day with. The staff at the breakfast appear to be super busy running around to clean the tables and not many people were free to attend to customers. I noticed this not once but almost every day during my five day stay. For instance it was for the first time ever in any hotel- I was asked to choose from coffee and regular tea- and not insist on English Breakfast Tea (which I prefer), because that was peak breakfast time and they did not have it ready. I let it go the first day, but second day the same thing happened and I asked the restaurant manager- and she apologised thrice and rushed to the kitchen- but still could not get the tea in next 10-15 mins- and I went on with my day. However- the third day onwards the tea was available. It is small incidents like this which one notices. over all not very nice breakfast. I must mention that I came across some very good staff members too (like front desk and the gents at the lobby level etc). Stay was not bad- but as I said nothing stands out- everything is right, but not outstanding.

Close to shopping malls.
Stayed for 2 nights suite rooms.Check-in was done at level 6 for suite guests.Guest only can access lounge using suite room cards.Since it is raining on day 2,decided to chill at the level 6 lounge.Since I wear normal clothing, staff ask what is my room number but did not ask other guest who came later.Since I stay in suite room and can access the lounge, why must staff ask for my room number.Staff like bell boy and housekeeping is more of customer oriented than check in staff. Why I said as such coz bellboy and housekeeping staff is more friendly and smile when guest approach for assistance. They even greet the guests.Check in staff should learn from them instead on how to treat the guests.Breakfast spread is the same and limited.Clean room and adequate facilities.Near shopping malls and city area. Not recommended coz hotel staffs only treat you very well if you dress like a business class type of person.

Worth the bucks
Very good location as it's close to resturants, pavilion shopping centre, and about 15min walk to Bulkit Bin Tang. The only thing I didn't like was the staff at the reception. I reached the hotel at 6am, had early check in as a special request which was not arranged, to make it worse at 6am I asked the reception staff to ensure the rooms are ready by 1pm as I was heading to Half day city tour. All the forms were filled in the morning however when I returned back at 1pm the room wasn't ready and to make it worse the staff couldn't find the forms, there wasn't any apology from the staff, instead the staff told me it's just another form he has asked me to fill.. bottom line hotel need to improve the check in and focus on customer service.
