10/10 Exceptional

Lovely room, comfy bed and lovely waterfall shower. Room was clean and tidy. Not much of a view but not a problem for us. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Complimentary tea, coffee and bottle of corona was a nice touch! Thank you for a lovely stay.

8/10 Very good

Ideally located in the centre of Reading. Very nice room equipped with all the amenities you could need. Only downside was the noise from the bar area below which could be heard in the room until 11pm. Despite this, I would stay here again.

8/10 Very good

This place feels like an odd mix — some aspects feel like a hip boutique hotel while others seem a bit “budget.” There is no actual lobby or dedicated hotel staff in the evening, so you collect your key from the large bar on the ground floor. The rooms are nicely decorated and well appointed (eg, nice bathroom fixtures, Nespresso machine in room), though quite dark. Good location in historic city centre. Nice touches like a refrigerator on the corridor that has bottles of cold filtered water.
