"Royal Palace hotel was our best stay in Vietnam. For $55 a night in the Old Quarter we got a beautiful room (701) and the best service possible. Every time we left the hotel we got a farewell by name and every time we came in they asked us how our time was, which was very appreciated. They didn't push us with tours but when we asked they were so helpful and got us some great trips to Sapa and Halong Bay that we'll never forget. They also charged us the standard price so they weren't tacking on extra commission. They went out of their way to help us at all times. They called us a taxi when we needed it, came with us to the train station so we didn't get too confused and recommended shops and restaurants that were all excellent. "

"Fantastic boutique hotel! The customer service is the best I’ve ever experienced—Katy, Nelly, and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to provide recommendations and fix any issues that arose. The room was as described with a wonderful view of the Ben Thanh market. It’s in a great location with many attractions within walking distance. We loved it so much that we’re rebooking this hotel after we returning from travel in the North. (Oh, and the breakfast selection is phenomenal.)"

"Staff was great, thank you Vy and the other amazing people we met there.. Very accommodating, beach is right there, plenty of dinning options in walking distance and other various shops.. Easy to book a grab anywhere from there as well.. Even all the people visiting were respectful and nice, it was a relaxing time..will definitely be going back"

"Clean and new. Good location across the street from the beach. Good breakfast, I can't understand anyone complaining about the breakfast. The pool is very clean if a bit cool because it is fully under a roof. Excellent housekeeping because any sand we brought back from the beach was gone after the daily cleaning. Lobby was a little warm. Roof top restaurant was nice. Good burger, soups, and pizza. Comfortable beds. Good water pressure in the shower. "
