Our room had a sofa / bed and TV room, hallway with a bathroom, and bedroom with a TV and balcony. The continental breakfast with made to order omelets was very nice. It was a short walk to the casino the night we arrived and felt safe making the walk. And it was a short walk in the morning to the cruise port.

Amazing staff and a good breakfast. Unfortunately, the room and bathroom were not as clean as expected, and both could use some upgrades. Overall, the staff was great, but the cleanliness and condition of the room could be improved.

Wonderful breakfast close enough for events at the convention center. Also you can take a streetcar down to the French Quarter.

The stay during Essence was both convenient and a great location. Embassy offered a great breakfast, which took the “what are we going to eat” away. Its location is with a five minute walk to the convention center and a 1.3 miles from the Superdome. And be free happy hour was the cherry on top!!
