Fantastic price for a studio apartment. Had a full kitchen including microwave, dishwasher and washing machine so would be good for longer stays. Very helpful staff. Loads of shops nearby for essentials. Tesco Express right over the road. Clean room, good location. I'd definitely stay here again. Probably wouldn't choose the basement room again though just due to the lack of light. Comfy beds, very powerful fan.

My room was under the hotel. A lovely room, it was massive, with a living room, kitchen area, bedroom and a huge bathroom. Spotlessly clean, the only downside was going down two large flights of stairs, also a bit of a musty smell, and I could hear water running in my room when I assume was a room nearby used their bathroom. Otherwise this would be the perfect place to stay

I had a really great stay at Whitworth Locke. The room itself was excellent, and the staff were nice and welcoming throughout the visit. My only critique is the lack of air conditioning and the tiny window. It meant the room got quite hot but there was a fan provided so we still had a comfortable sleep. Aside from the temperature issue, it was a fantastic experience and I would recommend it.

Staff made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived, they were all helpful and cheerful. Our room was larger than anticipated with kitchen facilities - wished we could have stayed longer! Good large fan a bonus. Well stocked bar, plenty of seating. Breakfast more than adequate and we were served at our table which was a nice surprise. Everywhere clean and tidy. Overall a pleasant stay in a central location.
