Warm welcome, spacious comfortable room, with everything you need. Food menu in the cafe was limited but good portions - and with the added bonus of free sweet and savoury treats for residents. Limited parking on site - but if you pre-pay you get a daily food allowance, so good value. And very easy 18-20 min walk to the town centre, including a nice walk along the river path.

This was my second stay at Ethos, a cozy and comfortable boutique hotel in a tranquil neighborhood just south of the river. My room was large and comfortable (A/C works great, even on top floor). But what most stands out about Ethos is the STAFF—so warm, friendly, and accommodating. There are the biggest part of the reason I’ll be back again.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, room was clean and wonderfully cool, tea and coffee making facilities plus a fridge are always a bonus! Ten minute walk to the centre, and very quiet area which mostly has family homes surrounding so felt very calm and safe. Would happily stay again :)

Check in and breakfast were in a small bar, the food was good but there was just one lady working so there was quite a wait. I had to pay £29 to park my car on some gravel outside the hotel. We were in room 114 which is on the third floor without an elevator and the carpets to get up there were filthy. On a positive note it was a good location

While not brand new, I think this was my favorite hotel of the whole stay in the UK. It was close to the hub of Oxford, but on a side street that was nice and quiet. The room was spacious, and there was air conditioning, a fridge, and a tub. Couldn't have asked for better during our stay in Oxford!
