Took the upgrade to the suite, Huge room and huge bed which was great, room wasn't quite ready for check in at 3 so had complimentary drinks. Fantastic bath and shower and drinks facilities. Old building with real character, loved it and will be returning next time in Brum.

I had a perfect stay here. The staff were absolutely amazing, went the extra mile for me and made it a warm and friendly stay for me as a solo traveller. I find it quite rare to experience such genuine warmth from a city centre hotel. I will definitely stay here again in future. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Location is great, very central to the business district and immediate distance to the shops.

Room was gorgeous and location was centre of town perfect for getting about. The cost of the breakfast was expensive for what I ordered but it was very tasty

There was works being done so didn't get to appreciate the beauty fully. But our room was lovely and the bed was great for sleep. We chose it for the Victorian look and it didn't disappoint. We were lucky to find parking outside otherwise there are nearby ones walking distance away but not so cheap

Nice hotel, very clean and tidy. Great location. Slightly annoying that all 4 USB ports in the room didn't work, meaning we couldn't charge phones, but staff were friendly and lent us a spare USB plug.

Hotel is well situated and close to many bars and restaurants along Colmore and in the Cathedral quarter. Easy to find and a short walk from New Street train station. Staff were welcoming and helpful and check in was quick and easy. The room was well set up and had plenty of space to relax in. We did have a couple of drinks in the comfortable and well stocked hotel bar - excellent service! Comfortable and well set up overall and a lovely stay even if it was only one night. Would recommend.

The hotel is tired and halls and bedroom doors could do with a paint job. The bed was comfortable. Good location.
