breakfast poor could have more choice and been hotter no bowls for fruit and no salt and pepper on final day breakfast staff helpful room was nice but very noisy from outside maybe need some double glazing we were woken up early hours curtains were moving with the wind even though windows shut water pressure was very poor in taps very poor lighting reception was very helpful as were bar staff

This was a very nice hotel with elegant rooms. The bed was very comfortable. We were upgraded to a larger room because we were my millennium members. We also got to spend a wheel and won complementary drinks at the bar. Everything is Beatles themed, it is a classy place that is conveniently located to the cavern club, restaurants, and shopping area areas. We came in on the train and left at the bus station and were able to walk to both from this hotel. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Room was clean, location is good and walkable to sights. Stayed in a balcony room. It overlooked a back alley where all the garbage and recycling bins are. Balcony had a lot of bird droppings on it and a old dirty metal table and chairs. Had problem with room door key not working and saw another guest with the same problem. Staff are not welcoming or happy.

Everything about the hotel is wonderful except the breakfast. The room is understaffed, therefore: no plates or bowls sometimes, not enough fruit or other selections, the host was also busser and table setup man, logjams at coffee and toast area (more staff could serve pots of tea and coffee). The staff there was did an incredible job under the circumstances and deserve more assistance. We loved our room.

All in all amenities were good - room lovely - plenty of plug sockets etc. The shower in the bathroom was hard to control to maintain a constant heat . The breakfast was good but the queue for beverages was long and only one machine for everyone in the middle of all the food - would be better out to one side or away from the food altogether . We parked in Q carpark as recommended but we're unable to get a discount as we were told we should have applied for it prior to parking which we were unaware of .The lady at reception gave us a code but we were unable to use it .

Lovely hotel in a great location. Our room was a classic delux, nice but air conditioning didn’t work so had a couple of fans. It did get warm but we managed with the fans. Lovely stay, shame there wasn’t any Beatles music being played in reception or a dedicated Beatles channel on the TV for us super fans!

Reception staff were great, friendly and helpful. We didn't see any cleaning staff so cannot comment. Negatives, no glasses or plastic glasses in the room, only 2 teabags per day and 1 small biscuit each day per person, which we thought was a bit mean. We had a noisy room due to the closeness to Matthew Street so that needs to be pointed out to guests. The breakfast was lovely, lots to choose from. Hotel is in a great position, close to everything.
