Malmaison Liverpool, Liverpool
It was OK
Overall, I had a good stay but there were a few problems. 1. The heater in my room took about 15 - 20 minutes to warm the room up. I had to request another space heater to speed things up. 2. The toilet didn't work at all. The hotel had to call maintenance and it still wasn't fixed right. We had to repeatedly flush the toilet in order to flush. 3. The hotel isn't close to the city center or railway stations. Because of the problems discussed above, I didn't feel that I got a good value for my money.

Very Good8.0
The hotel itself was lovely. Very well maintained, but I have to say it was the worst bed I have ever slept on. It was like a board.

Modern and Comfortable Hotel on the River
Modern, luxurious hotel in a great location. Very classy room with modern appointments and en suite bath. Comfortable and quiet. Restaurant and bar are popular for good reason. Gourmet food and drink. Easy walk to main attractions on the river.

V poor restaurant performance. Breakfast took 100 mins one day, 80 another and 40 on the last day. They ran out of still water, sausages, pizza, burgers despite knowing they were full over the holiday period. The staff were amazing and these shortfalls represent poor planning and buying practices

Great hotel in the Heart of a great City
Liverpool is an amazing city and the Malmaison captures the flavor of the city and is in the heart of all the activity. A short walk to the Albert Dock and Liverpool One, and easy access to great food and fun
