Just a quick 20-30 minute drive from the airport, the resort feels like a true escape—far from the crowds and noise. The atmosphere is serene, the amenities are top-notch, and the service is truly exceptional. I haven’t heard a single guest complain about anything! A special shoutout to Francisco at J’AO for the amazing dining experience, Marcus for keeping our room immaculate every day, and Julio by the pool for his outstanding service. Property is beautiful and we tried all the restaurants, presentation and food was exceptional. It’s quiet and a 20 minute cab ride into Cancun if you want to explore further. Our room faced the ocean as most of them are Ocean front. The rooms are well appointed and a large shower that opens up to a plunge pool. It’s a very romantic hotel and we have stayed at many Waldorfs around the world, and we have never been disappointed. I read reviews about how expensive the food was, which I found was reasonable for the quality and for the Waldorf. The beach is walkable and the Ocean is not clear blue waters, but it’s private and the pools at the hotel make up for it. We enjoyed our stay but if you want variety and more stimulation this may not be the place to stay. For us it was about tranquility, sun and just enjoying the luxury experience of the Waldorf.
