Gorgeous hotel, the room was right at the front so the view was incredible

We had a very small ‘cosy’ room but it had everything you needed. The staff on check in were very polite and helpful. The spa is great, but the water in the jacuzzis wasn’t hot enough. The sauna was fantastic! The location was per perfect and breakfast well worth the money.

over priced by anyone's standard. tiny room with very little room. very comfortable bed and pillows however. £190 a night with no parking for what is just effectibely a bed for the night is poor value.

The hotel was lovely - such a relaxing atmosphere and lovely rooms. The staff were super friendly, helpful and responsive. The location is ideal - 15 minute walk in a straight line from the station, over the road from the beach and 5 minutes to the lanes. This was the best hotel spa I’ve ever been to - well worth the extra £10 to use. Large swimming pool, hydrotherapy pool, two hot tubs, sauna, steam room and calm chill out area. Will definitely be visiting again!

Great hotel with surprisingly expansive spa. Perfect location for seafront and the lanes, but sea facing rooms can be noisy on weekend nights so consider this when picking the room

4/10 Fair

With the exception of the amazing housekeeping and room service staff, everything else scout this hotel was substandard - with check in being painfully long, dragged out and inefficient. This hotel has such potential but the leadership lets it down.

8/10 Very good

I had a really high expectation for my stay at the Harbour hotel and spa, particularly as I paid a higher than normal price for the room and the stay period. The overall experience was good and the staff were very helpful and friendly, however there were a few things that were quite disappointing. The breakfast was underwhelming and, for what I paid for, did not meet expectation. I thought there would be a full English breakfast buffet but it was just a small set meal. The room was nice and cosy but I found a lot of dust and dirt. Places like the radiator, the room appliances and a lot of collected dirt and dust in the bathroom air fan. There was no room phone as this would have been handy to call reception and room service. The spa and gym amenitites were good. The bubbling bathtubs in the dungeon area of the spa were out of order which was unfortunate as this was one of the main things I was looking forward to using. The swimming pool was okay and I enjoyed the jacuzzi, wet room and sauna. Overall, my experience of my hotel stay was good, not quite amazing as I had wanted it to be.

Great location - on the Brighton beach front and close to The Lanes for a wide range of food and drink. Hotel not up to the Harbour Hotel group standard - tired and scruffy around the edges. Arrived after published checkin time but room not ready - which was a problem as had a timed ticket entry to concert. Offered complimentary drink by way of apology, which was nice, however would have much preferred to have been able to access the room.

Lovely hotel in a very convenient location. Complimentary G&T in the room was a very nice touch! Breakfast was good but service was extremely slow. Had to wait a good 30 mins for tea and coffee to arrive and about an hour for our cooked breakfast. It wasn’t busy.

Lovely hotel with a great view. We had a corner suite and the welcome gin was appreciated, shame only the tonic was replaced on day 2. Room service was delicious. Be warned it is £10 per person per day to use the spa if you haven't booked direct - this is hidden away on the hotel description (unlike other charges which were easy to see up front!)

Lovely spa hotel with a calm, relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the spa facilities were excellent—especially the pool and sauna. Staff were friendly and welcoming. A great place to unwind—I’d definitely visit again. Great sea front view.

Spa is lovely. Staff and hotel is really nice. Rooms at the back are backed onto a noisy bar so try to avoid them if you can

Hotel is clean and tidy, with lovely staff. The spa itself was a huge bonus at a hotel, the only downside I have is that there are a good few steps in this hotel, some quite tricky steps down to the lower level spa, but it was lovely clean and very relaxing. Can get quite busy.

The check-in was quick and easy. The view from the room was better than expected. A lovely place to stay if you want to be close to the city action...and the beach.

I stayed in a single “cosy” room which was tiny but really comfortable and exactly what I needed. Very clean room and lovely bathroom. I visited the spa which is very nice, breakfast was also lovely. It’s also in a great location right on the seafront and super close to all of the shops and not far from the station. I would stay here again
