6 Best Places to Go Shopping in Duluth

At the DeWitt-Seitz Marketplace, you’ll find a really cool art shop featuring the works of local artists. There’s also a candle store, a trendy homeware store with great kitchen supplies, a candy store, and a spot where you can pick up some books and puzzles for your travels. The Canal Park neighborhood is the go-to shopping destination in Duluth. Visitors flock here to walk the lakeside promenade and see the historic Aerial Lift Bridge. If you prefer a more traditional shopping experience, head to the Miller Hill Mall. It’s a quick drive west from the lakefront neighborhoods. It’s also a great place to spend the day if you are seeking shelter from the rain or snow. 

Miller Hill Mall is a destination for locals, it being one of the only malls of its kind within a 100-mile radius. Here you’ll find all your favorite big box stores, about 20 chain restaurants, and a children’s play area. It’s shopping heaven for any teens and tweens in your traveling group. 

The Duluth Farmers’ Market has been selling locally grown and produced goods since 1911. All the market’s members are local farmers and producers are from the Lake Superior area. You’ll find fresh produce, honey, herbs, tea, bread, maple syrup, mushrooms, meats, and cheeses.
