This hotel is in need of a refurbishment, it is very tired and dated

Booked for my brother who reported that the hotel served the purpose for a one night stay, it was clean and relatively comfortable. He also said however that the room was noisy, there wasn’t much water pressure in the shower and the floorboards creaked. It was in a good location for the city though.

For the price a very good little hotel. Be aware parking is included despite the signs.

Excellent experience. Very friendly and helpful person on reception. Explained everything that I needed to know, room was large and very clean. Yes the Hotel looks a little dated but honestly don't let that put you off from booking. Hotel has free parking for customers, an outside swimming pool, which unfortunately I didn't get time to use. It's location is ideal if you are watching a gig at The Old Fire Station. Highly recommended Hotel. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Nice stay with the wife. Only needed the bed. Hotel poor wouldn't recommend if staying longer than a night. If on a stag or hen night. Okay I guess

Listed as breakfast available for £10 but on check in we were told no breakfast is provided. Apparently you have to pre-book before arrival, but no information given during the booking process to tell you that. Very misleading.

Good - new carpet. Bed. Bad - dirty kettle, skirting boards and shower. Broken top of shower where its two doors met. The taped repair had come adrift. Really needed a thorough clean. Stairs needed a vacuum clean.

Staff on reception was polite especially as i had been put on the computer as arriving on the Thursday he managed to correct this and apologised

Hotel was tired and worn. Carpets were very old and need replacing. Room was clean but looking tired and in need of refurbishment. The shower in the bathroom room was terrible, very small and had very weak water pressure with no extraction. No breakfast was available which was very disappointing! A very underwhelming experience I’m afraid. I would not recommend it.

I wouldn’t bother us going as it is dirty. My bedroom lights didn’t work, but in a good area to the beach.

Nice hotel close to the beach

Lovely hotel, a little tired in areas but overall a pleasant experience. Our room was situated on a frequently used corridor so very noisy with people walking up and down the stairs. Good free parking though

The bed was one of the worst I’ve ever seen. The mattress was shockingly bad. You could feel and see every spring which creaked pinged and moved everytime you moved. The room also had mould on the ceiling and an awful smell of musky dampness. My friend had a much nicer room and their bed was okay so it’s luck of the draw I guess.

The room stank of B.O. Bed, sheets & pillows all stained Power socket hanging off the wall Room was outdated, dirty & in poor condition. The beds had been double wrapped in linen rather than bothering to wash them it would seem. The room was a cheap stay and it could be considered that you get what you pay for, however, you can find better campsites for a similar price. I booked for 3 nights and accidentally got the dates wrong, asked for a refund and was refused. I ended up trying the place out but only managed to stay for about an hour and a half before booking a new hotel, and counting it as a loss. Did try calling reception for a room change but got no answer. I would not recommend this hotel.

My room hadn’t been made up when I checked in at about 5pm and when I carried my luggage back to reception she didn’t believe me and asked me to go back to the room, I had to then carry my luggage back to the room. Bed unmade and dirty crockery by the bed, then had to carry luggage back to reception where I was asked to wait in the lounge while they arranged for room to be made up. No offer of tea or coffee, I went off to eat elsewhere and came back 3 hours later when room was made up.
