So well positioned for the New Theatre, room small and dated but everything worked, the air con was quiet and street noise was close to zero. Excellent bed and shower. A great stay for an overnight, not though a hotel base for much longer

10/10 Exceptional

A modest hotel, very well located, extremely clean and well-maintained, in an excellent location. Staff were very helpful. My room was mall but very quiet and had a lovely view. Some of the printed materials are a bit out of date. Otherwise, very good.

10/10 Exceptional

This is a hidden gem. The entrance is just a door on the street that opens onto a hall with an elevator at the end. The lobby is on the next floor, and is pretty simple, but the staff was uniformly friendly. But then you get to the rooms. They are large by European standards, fully up to date, nicely furnished, and very comfortable. The building is about 200+ years old, but it was fully renovated a few years ago. The hotel is in the middle of the center city and just a few minutes walk to just about everything. Highly recommended.

This place was amazing! After traveling through the whole countryside of England, Oxford was my last stop before home. So it was an amazing welcome to have AIRCONDITIONING that actually worked and was cold. Everything else was a plus. The hotel is central and close to everything. It’s off a main walk way, but dont let it fool you from its elegance. The staff was more than helpful. My room and bathroom were very clean and surprisingly spacious. I had a great stay and will definitely come back. 10/10 Recommend!!

6/10 Good

Staff at reception late at night were great. The sheets were a stained, the door handle was loose. Internally the door didn't latch and there was no secondary physical lock for the door. the 'Privacy' latch, a small sensor for the card above the door handle didn't work. Also expensive, but it was late and we were tired. If you have more time, find another place.

10/10 Exceptional

Location was excellent for sight-seeing. There is no parking so be prepared to walk to the parking garage at the shopping mall which is about a 15 minute walk. It was hot when we were there and we were not really prepared for that. But overall, we loved the hotel and our stay in Oxford.
